BEST TIME TO DO YOUR EAR CROPPING SURGERY
The longer you wait to do the surgery, and the longer length of your crop, the more challenging it is for the ears to standup, especially for dogs with long ears like dobermans, great danes, boxers, etc. The recommended timeframe to perform ear cropping surgery ranges between 8-10 weeks for most breeds. With the exception of dobermans which is usually recommended between 7-9 weeks and Great Danes at 7 weeks.
